We hope you are all enjoying a great summer! With the worst of the bad weather behind us, you should be enjoying all your favorite summer activities. But when it's time to cool off and enjoy some indoor air-conditioned activities, you'll want to stop in and see all the great new fabrics we've been getting in, and maybe work on some Christmas projects to mentally cool down!   And, we have some great news for you in an upcoming newsletter. We are pretty excited about it here at the store and can't wait to tell you. But we are ironing out a few of the final details and want to have ALL the information to pass along.     Jo Morton's New Line Is In! Jo's newest line has arrived! It's called Jo's Classics - small prints in reds, blacks, and blues. As usual, Jo has designed this to mix and match with previous lines. We have fat quarter bundles and 5" charm squares ready for you to pick up, and we also have 5" charm squares for Meg's Bouquet and Toast. And remember, if you are looking for fabrics of any of Jo's lines, we probably have it. If it's available, we keep it in stock. Just Arrived ·  Let It Snow by Edyta Sitar for Moda fabrics - batiks in frosty blues and whites for winter that will make you think winter snow storms. ·  Over The River piecing kits - 'Over The River' (shown at right) from Crab-Apple Hill Studios is a combination of piecing and stitchery. We've kitted the blue and tan fabrics you will need to make this great pattern. ·  Pop Garden by Heather Bailey for Free Spirit fabrics - you'll think of a lot of ways to use Heather's line of airy fabrics, and we've included a link to her website for you to find out more about her. ·  Dinosaur Uproar from Moda fabrics - a dinosaur print with other coordinating prints that any dinosaur-loving kid would love in a quilt. Month 3 - 'Home For The Holidays' Block-of-the Month Month 3 for the Block-of-the-Month will be available Friday for pick-up at the store.   If you have not yet signed up for it, you still can. Our newest block of the month is a 12 month project designed by Robyn Pandolph. A Christmas design, this project combines patchwork and applique piecing to create a beautiful 90" by 92" quilt to use or display. We've done this in 2 color ways - a light background and a darker color-way using Jo Morton's holly on black background fabric from the Hattiesberg collection.
