Those of you who have shopped
our store or visited this website, know that our name was inspired by my childhood friends calling me 'Bullwinkle' instead
of by my last name 'Mowinkel'.
We been open since 2000 and have over 6000 bolts of fabric...many of which are
calling your name! We carry the largest selection of batiks, Japanese taupes, and flannels in eastern Nebraska.
Located one half block from the intersection
of Highway 370 and Highway 6 in Gretna, Nebraska, Nebraska,
we are easy to find. Our comfortable shop and pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable staff will greet you and make your experience
at the Moose extremely enjoyable.
The Moose sells it's own pattern line and is stocked with many kits and samples. In
fact, the Fall 2007 issue of Quilt Sampler magazine names the Moose a top ten shop and Debbie Roberts, the owner, has the
quilt she designed and made on the cover of that issue!
If your husband and kids are with you, have no fear.
We have a soft chair, TV, and kids videos to keep them occupied while you find your treasures.
The Moose takes great pride in customer service, great selection, and wonderful kits and
samples. Add to that, classes for all skill levels and patterns unique to our shop, and you have a store that you will want
